3 Arrested for Repackaging, Selling Expired Food in Delhi; Huge Stock Seized

Delhi Police busted a racket repackaging and selling expired food and beverages in Dwarka.
•
Three men, Kamal Mudgil (56), Shivam Singh (27), and Lokesh Kumar (35), were arrested.
•
Police seized 3,096 cans of soft drinks and large quantities of biscuits with altered packaging and forged dates.
•
The accused used a printing machine and thinner chemicals to change manufacturing and expiry dates.
•
FSSAI officials were called to verify licenses and collect samples; investigation is ongoing.
