500 CPI(M) Workers Booked for Rally Against Ex-Leader Sudhakaran

•Around 500 CPI(M) workers booked for organizing a rally against former party leader G Sudhakaran in Alappuzha, Kerala.
•Punnapra police registered the case, including against Ambalappuzha area committee secretary Shyamji.
•Accused of causing traffic disruption during the march on March 14, which proceeded from Paravur Assembly junction to a public ground.
•The procession allegedly obstructed vehicular movement and inconvenienced the public.
•Case registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS); Sudhakaran recently quit CPI(M) and plans to contest as an independent.
