52nd Khajuraho Dance Festival Kicks Off with Kathak, CM Yadav Inaugurates
•The 52nd Khajuraho Dance Festival, organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism and Culture Department, was virtually inaugurated by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
•The seven-day international festival began with a captivating Kathak performance at the open-air stage near the Kandariya Mahadeva Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
•This year's festival is themed 'Nataraja', showcasing 108 dance postures through art installations, alongside an exhibition of Madhya Pradesh's handloom and handicrafts.
•Tourism and Culture Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi highlighted the festival's international identity and its role in promoting Indian culture.
•New additions this year include 'Bal Nritya' and the 'Khajuraho Carnival', enhancing the experience for tourists and artists.
