AICTE Launches 500 Offline ATAL FDPs for 2026-27, Boosts Technical Education
•The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) launched 500 Offline ATAL Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) for the academic year 2026-27.
•AICTE Chairman Yogesh Singh inaugurated the initiative, emphasizing FDPs' role in providing quality training and strengthening technical education.
•The programs include 500 basic FDPs (six days each) and 50 advanced FDPs (two weeks each), covering 17 focus areas like AI, Semiconductors, and Green Economy.
•Only AICTE-approved institutions are eligible to apply; the application portal is open until April 13, with FDPs commencing from June 15.
•Member Secretary Shyama Rath highlighted the importance of these FDPs in preparing students to become a future-ready workforce.
