Alembic Pharma Enters US Branded Market with New Antibiotic Pivya

•Alembic Pharmaceuticals commenced sales of its first branded product, Pivya (pivmecillinam) tablets, in the US market.
•Pivya is an oral penicillin-class antibiotic designed for the treatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infections (uUTIs) in women.
•The product is marketed through Alembic Therapeutics LLC, a step-down wholly-owned subsidiary of Alembic.
•This launch signifies Alembic's strategic entry into the US branded pharmaceutical space, aiming to build a specialty portfolio.
•MD Pranav Amin stated this is the first step in leveraging the platform to build a broader branded portfolio in the US.
