Andhra CM: Amaravati to be Global Telugu Culture Hub, Focus on Self-Financed Projects

Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu emphasized Amaravati should globally showcase Telugu culture and heritage.

He directed officials to develop tourism at Neerukonda (167 acres) and design it as an attractive destination highlighting Telugu heritage.

Naidu called for "self-financed projects" in Amaravati, noting growing company interest, and highlighted sports as a future revenue generator.
•
The 59th CRDA meeting approved land allocations for CBSE, Tulluru educational society, APSIRD, and a Rs 120 crore Telugu Cultural Centre.
•
Administrative approval was granted for Rs 2,300 crore for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works in Secretariat and HOD towers.
