Andhra CM distributes high-security pattadar passbooks, assures land rights protection

• The program aims to provide legally secure land ownership documents, prevent record manipulation, and ensure transparent governance for farmers.
• Naidu stated that the NDA coalition government scrapped the Land Titling Act and introduced QR code-enabled passbooks to combat illegal land grabbing and tampering.
• A special program on the ninth of every month will resolve land issues and ensure bribe-free passbook issuance through a transparent survey mechanism.
• Over 37 lakh passbooks are ready, surveys completed in 280 villages this month, and 1.1 lakh beneficiaries received documents; goal is to issue 60 lakh pending passbooks by December 2027.
