  • Andhra Pradesh sent over 1.7 lakh tonnes of rice to the FCI within 15 days of kharif paddy procurement.
  • The state has procured over 20 lakh tonnes of paddy from nearly 3.5 lakh farmers, depositing around Rs 4,600 crore into their accounts.
  • 32,000 vehicles and special trains are deployed to facilitate smooth transportation of procured stocks.
  • Emergency measures were initiated in Krishna, Guntur, and Bapatla districts due to heavy yields, rains, and Cyclone Ditwah.
  • The government prioritizes transparent procurement, strict supervision, and continuous monitoring to safeguard farmers and ensure MSP operations.
