•An armed gang targeted two houses in Kavadgaon village, Beed district, stealing valuables and cash worth over Rs 2.16 lakh.
•The dacoits, numbering four to five, stormed the residences of Siddiq Shaikh and Yuvraj Kale on Sunday morning.
•A local youth was brutally attacked with an iron rod when he attempted to resist, sustaining serious injuries.
•This marks the fourth major dacoity in the area within four months, raising concerns about local security.
•The absence of CCTV cameras in the village is hindering the police investigation, prompting villagers to demand their installation.
