Army Chief Munir: Afghan Soil Use for Terror Against Pakistan Unacceptable

Army Chief Syed Asim Munir declared the use of Afghan soil by terrorists against Pakistan as "unacceptable."
•
He visited Wana, South Waziristan, near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border to assess security and operational readiness.
•
Munir stressed taking all necessary measures to neutralize threats emanating from across the border.
•
The visit followed Operation Ghazab lil Haq, launched on February 26 after alleged Afghan Taliban attacks.
•
He reiterated that peace requires the Afghan Taliban to renounce support for terrorism and terrorist organizations.
