Arunachal CM Pema Khandu assures Longding-Nokjan road upgrade under CRIF

CM Pema Khandu assured the Assembly of improving the vital NEC road connecting Longding district with Nokjan, Nagaland.
•
A proposal for improving about 22 km of the road, excluding the highway portion, is on the priority list for CRIF funding.
•
The estimated cost for the proposed work is around Rs 60 crore, to be funded by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).
•
NPP MLA Thangwang Wangham raised the issue, highlighting the road's importance as a lifeline for Longding district.
•
The road serves as a crucial link between the Wangsu community of Arunachal Pradesh and the Konyak tribe in Nagaland.
