Arunachal Students Freed from Begging to Attend Republic Day Parade in New Delhi

• Two students, Nipul Modi (10) and Samir Tati (13), from Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, will attend the 77th Republic Day parade in New Delhi as special guests.
• Both students were formerly engaged in begging and are now pursuing their education in government schools.
• Their selection was made under the SMILE project, supported by the Namsai district administration, Social Welfare department, and Dhamma Aid Foundation.
• The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment selected 100 individuals rehabilitated under the SMILE-Beggary scheme for this honor.
