Australian Delegation Boosts Education Ties with India, Explores New Partnerships

• A 20-member Australian Transnational Education (TNE) delegation, representing 16 universities, visited India for the Australia-India TNE Week 2026.
• The visit, led by Austrade, aimed to showcase Australia’s TNE capabilities and explore new collaborations, joint programmes, and sustainable education models with Indian institutions.
• The delegation attended the QS India Summit 2026 in Goa, themed ‘India@2047: Building Skills, Achieving Scale, Driving Innovation’, focusing on the future of Indian higher education.
• Following Goa, the delegation moved to New Delhi for a global conference, market briefing sessions, roundtable discussions, and networking with Indian university representatives.
• Vik Singh of Austrade highlighted the mission as a defining moment, reflecting Australian universities' intent to co-create globally relevant education models and deepen trust with Indian partners.
