Bengaluru: Woman Dies in Rajajinagar House Fire, 3 Family Members Escape

A 55-year-old woman, Savitha, died in a fire that broke out at her residence in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru.
•
Her husband Ramesh Babu, son Vishruth, and mother-in-law Channamma managed to escape safely from the blaze.
•
The incident occurred on March 2, between 9:30 pm and 10 pm, in the family's three-storey building.
•
Savitha was trapped on the upper level of their duplex home as the fire intensified rapidly, preventing her escape.
•
Preliminary findings suggest suffocation as the cause of death; a short-circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire, with investigation ongoing.
