Bhagat Singh's 95th Death Anniversary Observed in Lahore with Tributes and Demands
•The 95th death anniversary of Indian revolutionary leader Bhagat Singh and his two comrades was observed in Lahore.
•An event was organized at Shadman Chowk, the site where Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev were hanged by the British government on March 23, 1931.
•Participants paid tributes, lit candles, and highlighted Bhagat Singh's message of resistance against oppression and advocacy for humanity, peace, and freedom.
•Resolutions were passed urging the Pakistan government to confer "Nishan-e-Pakistan" and the Indian government to award "Bharat Ratna" to Bhagat Singh.
•Other demands included renaming Shadman Chowk after Bhagat Singh, issuing commemorative stamps, and including his struggle in the national curriculum.
