Chennai LPG Blast Kills Two Children, Injures Seven; Houses Collapse in Navallur
•Two children, Dheeran (1.5 years) and Krithika (4 years), died on the spot in a suspected LPG cylinder explosion at Navallur, Chennai.
•Seven other persons, including a 7-year-old boy Pradeep, sustained severe burn injuries and were admitted to hospitals.
•The incident occurred around 7:40 AM at Chamundeeswarar Nagar, 3rd Street, along Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), causing three adjacent houses to partially collapse.
•Locals, Thazhambur Police Station personnel, and firefighters conducted rescue operations, freeing trapped individuals.
•Police have launched an investigation, with preliminary reports suggesting a gas cylinder blast as the cause.
