• The decision was made at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar.
• Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao stated the bill seeks to effectively curb conversions from one faith to another by force, allurement, undue influence, or false representation.
• The cabinet also approved the withdrawal of 13 cases related to political protests and determined new grant rates for non-conventional energy projects.
• Other key approvals include bills for a Staff Selection Board, prevention of unfair means in exams, and abolishing cess on property registration.
