Chhattisgarh Congress Leader Seeks NHRC Probe into Tribal's Death

•Senior Congress leader Charandas Mahant requests NHRC inquiry into the death of a tribal villager in Balrampur district.
•Ram alias Ramnaresh (62) died and two others were injured on February 15 after an assault over suspected illegal bauxite mining.
•Mahant, Leader of Opposition, claims death resulted from excessive administrative force, violating human rights.
•He seeks a comprehensive, impartial high-level probe, identification of responsible officials, and compensation for the victim's family.
•Four persons, including SDM Karun Dahariya, have been arrested in connection with the case.
