Chhattisgarh inks MoU with STPI for entrepreneurship, electronics design centres

• Chhattisgarh government signed an MoU with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) to establish a Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE) and an Electronics System Design and Development (ESDD) centre.
• Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated the initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship among youth and provide world-class IT and ITES opportunities.
• The CoE will foster innovation and start-ups in AI, forest/medicinal-product-based med-tech, smart city solutions, and smart agriculture.
• The ESDD centre will support 30-40 hardware start-ups and MSMEs annually with product design, prototyping, and skill development.
• This move is expected to curb youth migration, boost local employment, and strengthen Chhattisgarh's start-up ecosystem, giving it a new identity in digital innovation.
