Chhattisgarh to Host First-Ever Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 from March 25

•Chhattisgarh will host the inaugural Khelo India Tribal Games (KITG) 2026 from March 25 to April 3, a landmark event under the Khelo India mission.
•The Games will take place across Raipur, Jagdalpur, and Surguja, featuring over 2300 athletes and 3700 participants.
•With 32% tribal population, Chhattisgarh is a natural fit, celebrating indigenous cultures and athletic excellence.
•Nine sports disciplines, including Archery, Athletics, Football, Hockey, Swimming, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Mallakhamb, and Kabaddi, will be contested.
•Morveer, the official mascot, symbolizes the pride and spirit of India's tribal communities, offering a national platform for tribal athletes.
