CJI Flags Off Women's Day Walkathon in Chandigarh, Boosts Rights Awareness

• Chief Justice of India Surya Kant flagged off a Women's Day Walkathon in Chandigarh on March 8.
• The event aimed at raising awareness about women’s rights and saw participation from young lawyers and judges.
• Justice Kant also participated in the 2.5 km walk, which started from Sukhna Lake police post and concluded at the Open Hand Monument.
• Justice Sheel Nagu, Chief Justice of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, also joined the walkathon.
• The walkathon was organized as part of the India International Disputes Week, which also included the inauguration of the Chandigarh International Arbitration Centre by CJI Kant.
