CJI Flags Off Women's Day Walkathon in Chandigarh, Boosts Rights Awareness
•Chief Justice of India Surya Kant flagged off a Women's Day Walkathon in Chandigarh on March 8.
•The event aimed at raising awareness about women’s rights and saw participation from young lawyers and judges.
•Justice Kant also participated in the 2.5 km walk, which started from Sukhna Lake police post and concluded at the Open Hand Monument.
•Justice Sheel Nagu, Chief Justice of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, also joined the walkathon.
•The walkathon was organized as part of the India International Disputes Week, which also included the inauguration of the Chandigarh International Arbitration Centre by CJI Kant.
