CM Stalin Honors 500 Elderly Couples Under HR&CE Scheme

• Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin honored 500 elderly couples, aged 70 and above, under the HR&CE scheme.
• Couples received a package including dhoti, shirt, saree, blouse, fruits, kumkum, and turmeric.
• The initiative, announced in the 2025-26 Budget, aims to honor 2,000 couples statewide.
• Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin launched the scheme on November 10, 2025.
• The HR&CE Department plans to extend the initiative to 20,000 elderly couples this year, having already honored 3,000 across Tamil Nadu.
