CM Sukhu Inaugurates HPSCB Branch at Kaithu, Boosts Financial Inclusion

• Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated a new branch of the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank (HPSCB) at Kaithu, Shimla.
• The inauguration aims to strengthen the cooperative banking network and ensure greater financial inclusion and accessible banking services across the State.
• CM Sukhu highlighted the vital role of cooperative banks in supporting farmers, small traders, self-help groups, and rural entrepreneurs, urging government deposits with HPSCB.
• HPSCB presented a cheque of Rs 2 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, for which CM Sukhu expressed gratitude, noting its importance for distress relief and emergency response.
• Managing Director Shravan Manta detailed HPSCB's achievements, including financial strengthening, branch expansion, and adoption of digital banking solutions.
