CM Yadav Launches 'Jal Ganga Samvardhan' Phase 3, Pledges Rs 2,500 Cr for Water Projects

• Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav launched the third phase of the ‘Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan’ on Gudi Padwa in Indore.
• CM Yadav performed 'bhoomi pujan' for renovation of three major water bodies under AMRUT 2.0, totaling over Rs 21 crore.
• The statewide campaign will run for three and a half months, concluding on June 30, with 18 departments participating.
• The government aims to undertake water conservation and storage works worth Rs 2,500 crore this year, focusing on new ponds, river revival, and groundwater recharge.
• Special emphasis will be on maintaining over 10,000 check dams and stop dams across all 55 districts to enhance irrigation and groundwater.
