• Around 70 sovereigns of gold and 20 kilograms of silver, valued over Rs 1 crore, were stolen.
• Owner Ramesh Kumar was away for Maha Shivaratri celebrations when miscreants broke the rear shutter.
• Police, sniffer dogs, and forensic experts are investigating; CCTV footage secured to trace culprits.
• A complaint has been lodged at Singanallur Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
