Court Bars CarryMinati from Defaming Karan Johar, Orders Video Takedown

• A court has directed YouTuber Ajey Nagar, known as CarryMinati, to stop creating "defamatory, vulgar, and abusive" content about filmmaker Karan Johar.
• Social media platforms have been ordered to remove Nagar’s existing videos targeting Johar.
• Civil judge P G Bhosale issued the interim order in a suit filed by Johar against Nagar and other parties including Google and Meta.
• Johar claimed the videos ridiculed him and damaged his reputation, seeking a temporary injunction.
• The court found prima facie evidence that Nagar and his manager made defamatory statements and used vulgar language against Johar.
