CPI(M) Demands Single-Phase West Bengal Polls, Cites Anti-Social Elements

•CPI(M) urged the Election Commission for single-phase West Bengal assembly polls, or maximum two phases.
•State secretary Mohammed Salim stated multi-phase elections aid movement of anti-social elements.
•The party also demanded free and fair elections and inclusion of all genuine voters in revised rolls.
•The ECI full bench is in Kolkata for a three-day visit to review poll preparations.
