CM Majhi: Odisha cybercrimes cost ₹222 Cr in 16 months

• Odisha reported 3,486 cybercrime cases in the last 16 months, resulting in a loss of Rs 222.09 crore.
• Police arrested 727 individuals and filed charge-sheets in 104 cases; Rs 61.36 lakh was returned to victims, and Rs 6.74 crore in bank accounts was seized.
• The state launched the Cyber Safety Campaign–2025 in October, involving 33 police districts and 16 'Cyber Raths' to raise public awareness.
• Over 24 lakh citizens participated in various awareness activities, including 120+ workshops, walkathons, and street plays.
