Delhi Among Most Polluted NCR Cities Despite 17% PM10 Drop: Study
•
Delhi remained among the most polluted NCR cities in 2025-26 with an annual average PM10 level of 201 micrograms per cubic metre.
•
This is despite a 17% reduction in PM10 levels compared to the 2017-18 baseline.
•
Ghaziabad recorded the highest PM10 concentration at 215 micrograms per cubic metre, followed by Delhi and Noida.
•
Delhi's pollution levels are still over three times higher than the national standard of 60 micrograms per cubic metre.
•
Experts call for stronger, region-wide measures under NCAP to tackle pollution sources impacting Delhi and surrounding areas.
