Delhi CM Gupta launches amphibious excavator to clean Najafgarh drain, targets cleaner Yamuna

• Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched an amphibious excavator machine for cleaning the Najafgarh drain.
• The machine, procured by the Irrigation and Flood Control department, was unveiled in the Badusarai area.
• It aims to speed up the removal of silt and garbage, improve the drainage system, and contribute to a cleaner Yamuna river.

• An estimated 1 crore metric tonnes of silt has accumulated in the Najafgarh drain.
