Delhi CM Rekha Gupta launches Rs 1,075 crore infrastructure projects in East Delhi

• Delhi CM Rekha Gupta laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 1,075 crore in Vivek Vihar, East Delhi.
• The projects aim to improve traffic management, alleviate waterlogging, and enhance overall infrastructure in the city.
• PWD will strengthen and improve 236 roads at a cost of Rs 782 crore, ensuring smoother traffic flow and safer travel.
• Five foot overbridges are being constructed for pedestrian safety, and the Flood Control Department will reconstruct drains, build boundary walls, roads, and bridges.
• The CM emphasized timely completion, high-quality standards, and a commitment to a developed Delhi, with a focus on bridging the Yamuna river divide.
