Delhi HC seeks Mahua Moitra's response on lawyer's plea over pet Henry's custody

Dehadrai's revision petition challenges a district court order that dismissed his plea to reject Moitra's lawsuit for shared custody.

He argues Moitra's lawsuit is legally barred, lacks a binding agreement, and that animals are property with no statutory custody rights.

Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri issued notice on Dehadrai's petition but refused to stay the district court proceedings at this stage.

The High Court has listed the matter for further hearing on May 14, with Moitra's plea for interim relief also pending.
