Delhi Police bust international digital fraud ring, 10 arrested, Rs 50 Cr uncovered

• Delhi Police arrested 10 individuals, including the mastermind, for international digital fraud and extortion across seven states.
• Over Rs. 50 crore was uncovered from the fraud, linked to 61 National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) complaints.
• The fraudsters used misleading loan apps, fake job offers, and online gaming platforms to cheat citizens.
• CBI also filed charges against 17 accused and 58 companies in a related transnational cyber fraud case, part of Operation Chakra-V.
• The syndicate involved 111 shell companies with dummy directors and forged documents to defraud unsuspecting citizens.
