Delhi to launch 'Rah-Veer' scheme: Rs 25,000 reward for helping accident victims

•Delhi government to implement Centre’s ‘Rah-Veer’ financial incentive scheme.
•Citizens assisting seriously injured road accident victims within the golden hour will receive Rs 25,000 and a certificate.
•Scheme aims to remove fear of legal complications and encourage public participation in saving lives.
•It aligns with Good Samaritan Rules under Section 134A of the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019.
•A District Level Evaluation Committee will oversee implementation, and top ten Rah-Veers annually will get a Rs 1 lakh national award.
