Drone drops 6.5 kg heroin from Pakistan, seized along IB in Jammu

•Over 6.5 kg of heroin, valued at over Rs 40 crore, seized along the International Border in Jammu's R S Pura sector.
•The contraband was dropped by a drone from Pakistan and recovered during a joint operation by BSF and police.
•Two yellow-coloured packets containing 6.582 kg heroin were found in Nai Basti Karotana village.
•An NDPS Act case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing to trace the source and destination.
•This recovery follows another arrest of two individuals for drone-smuggling heroin in Kathua district.
