EC to visit Kerala on March 6-7 to assess poll preparedness

•Election Commission, led by CEC Gyanesh Kumar, will visit Kerala on March 6 and 7.
•The visit is to assess poll preparedness for the upcoming assembly elections.
•Assembly polls are also due in Assam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and West Bengal.
•EC has already visited Assam, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry for similar assessments.
•The terms of the five assemblies end on different dates in May and June.
