Ex-Punjab Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar Arrested in Official's Suicide Case

• Former Punjab minister and AAP MLA Laljit Singh Bhullar was arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of a state warehousing corporation official.
• Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, district manager of Punjab State Warehousing Corporation, died by consuming poison, purportedly claiming harassment by Bhullar in a video.
• Bhullar resigned as minister following the incident at the direction of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
• Police booked Bhullar, his father Sukhdev Singh Bhullar, and PA Dilbag Singh under sections 108, 351 (3), and 3 (5) of the BNS.
• Randhawa's family had issued a 24-hour ultimatum for Bhullar's arrest and refused post-mortem until action was taken.
