F1 Bahrain, Saudi Arabian GPs Cancelled Amid Escalating Middle East Tensions
•Formula 1 cancelled the upcoming Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, along with F2, F3, and F1 Academy rounds, scheduled for April.
•The decision was made due to the ongoing and escalating military operations and retaliatory actions involving Iran, the US, and Israel in the Middle East.
•The Bahrain GP was set for April 12 at the Bahrain International Circuit, and the Saudi Arabian GP for April 19 at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
•F1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali and FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem cited safety and well-being as primary concerns for the cancellation.
•No alternative races will be substituted in April, but F1 hopes to return to both locations when circumstances allow.
