FSI, BISAG-N Partner to Boost Geospatial Tech in Forest, Wildlife Management

Forest Survey of India (FSI) and BISAG-N signed an MoU to enhance geospatial technologies, remote sensing, and AI/ML tools.
•
The collaboration focuses on forest fire management, wildlife conservation, and decision support systems.
•
The MoU was signed during the 90th meeting of the SC-NBWL, chaired by Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav in Dehradun.
•
SC-NBWL, a statutory body, advises the government on wildlife and forest conservation.
•
The committee also discussed proposals for infrastructure projects and the dependence of nomadic communities on Protected Areas.
