•Three criminals ambushed the young man returning from work, stealing Rs 2,500 cash and a bag.
•The 'Gala Ghotu Gang' has a history of similar crimes; two members were apprehended last year after an encounter.
•DCP North-West Bhisham Singh detailed a past incident where the gang robbed a man of his phone, cash, and gold ring.
