GM's ACDelco Relaunches in India, Eyes Rs 100 Cr Revenue with Assurance Intl

General Motors’ aftermarket brand ACDelco re-enters the Indian market through a licensing pact with Assurance Intl Ltd.
•
Assurance Intl Ltd will be the official licensee, responsible for manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of select aftermarket products.
•
Initially, the focus will be on lubricants and batteries, with plans to expand into filters and other product ranges later.
•
The partnership aims to achieve Rs 75-100 crore in revenue within three to four years, leveraging Assurance Intl's pan-India network.
•
ACDelco's operations had ceased in 2020 following General Motors' exit from India in 2017, now returning via a tripartite agreement.
