Heroin Worth Rs 1.37 Lakh Seized in Arunachal's Namsai Raid

• Police seized 26 grams of heroin valued at Rs 1.37 lakh from a residence in Nongtow Khamti village, Namsai district.
• The raid on March 9 followed credible information about illicit drug sales and purchases.
• Namsai SDPO Kengo Dirchi, OC AK Pandey, and SP Sange Thinley led the operation.
• Heroin was recovered from a sling bag carried by the accused during the search, which was videographed via the E-Sakshya app.
• A case under Section 21 (b) of the NDPS Act, 1985, has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.
