Himachal: 4 Hospitalized After Toxic Gas Leak at Sirmaur Factory

•Four employees of Tirupati life science factory in Paonta hospitalized due to methylene dichloride leak.
•The toxic gas leaked from a storage tank, causing panic among workers.
•Eight employees were affected, with two discharged and two still undergoing treatment.
•Sirmaur SP Nischit Singh Negi confirmed a negligence case registered against factory management.
•Methylene chloride is an industrial solvent, exposure to which can affect heart, CNS, liver, and cause irritation.
