•Two people were killed and two others seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident near Pattarehalli village in Chitradurga district.
•The incident occurred late Saturday when an unidentified vehicle crashed into four people standing by the roadside.
•The victims were reportedly repairing their broken-down car when the accident happened.
•Two individuals died on the spot, while the injured were hospitalized.
