ICAI to Launch Information Systems Audit Standards This Month

• The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will release Information Systems Audit Standards (ISAS) later this month.
• These 11 ISAS aim to strengthen the audit process within India's digital ecosystem.
• ICAI President Prasanna Kumar D stated this is the first time a professional institute is introducing such standards, approved by its central council.
• ISAS will link system controls directly with financial reporting integrity.
