Imran Khan's Party Demands Urgent Medical Care for Jailed Ex-PM

•Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demanded immediate medical treatment for Imran Khan, who is believed to be suffering from a right eye ailment.
•Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi called for Khan's treatment at Shifa International Hospital under personal physicians and family presence.
•This demand follows a high court's rejection of a petition to shift Khan to a private hospital, which instead ordered a team of doctors for examination.
•Afridi warned that the current government and their handlers would be responsible if any harm comes to Khan due to denied adequate medical care.
•Khan has been jailed since August 2023, serving a sentence in the Al Qadir Trust corruption case and facing other pending trials.
