• The BCIC, in partnership with UNIDO, offers integrated support services to manufacturing companies and MSMEs across BRICS nations.
• Its primary focus is to strengthen Industry 4.0 competencies, enhancing productivity and advanced manufacturing practices.
• A Trust Fund Agreement was signed between DPIIT and UNIDO, formalizing India's participation in the BCIC framework.
• The National Productivity Council (NPC) has been designated as India's Centre for BRICS Industrial Competencies, spearheading engagement.
