Indian Navy Escorts LPG Carriers to Safety, Crew Chants 'Bharat Mata ki Jai'

Two LPG carriers, BW TYR and BW ELM, carrying 94,000 MT of LPG, safely transited the region and are en route to India.
•
Crew members onboard thanked the Indian Navy for escorting them, chanting 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Vande Mataram'.
•
BW TYR is expected in Mumbai on March 31, and BW ELM in New Mangalore on April 1.
•
The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas confirmed measures are in place to ensure the safety of Indian vessels and seafarers.
•
DG Shipping has facilitated the repatriation of over 942 Indian seafarers and monitors the situation 24x7.
