India's FY27 GDP Growth Projection Revised Up to 7-7.4 pc: CEA
•Chief Economic Advisor V Anantha Nageswaran announced an upward revision of India's economic growth projection for FY27.
•The new projection stands at 7-7.4 per cent, an increase of 20 basis points from the earlier 6.8-7.2 per cent.
•This revision follows the release of the new GDP series by MoSPI, with a base year of 2022-23, replacing the 2011-12 series.
•Nageswaran indicated that the economy is likely to achieve growth closer to 7.4 per cent.
•He also stated that nominal GDP growth would be near 11 per cent, pushing the economy past the USD 4 trillion-mark, and highlighted strong growth momentum.
