•Eknath Wagh was found hanging, while his wife Rohini's body was on the ground, suspected to be strangled.
•Police suspect Eknath strangled Rohini before committing suicide; investigation underway.
•The couple faced severe financial hardship, having sold two houses and invested heavily in the stock market.
•Eknath sent his two sons to buy milk just before the incident, according to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Amarendra Singh.
